Refugee Shabbat

Join CSI Nyack as we commemorate HIAS' 7th Annual Worldwide Refugee Shabbat to express solidarity with the global Jewish movement for refugee protection and welcome.
We are pleased to welcome a guest speaker who has arrived to our community from Haiti to learn more about his experiences, and to sample some traditional foods from Haiti prepared by CSI volunteers under the supervision of a Haitian mentor.

Services start at 9:30 am
Jacandi will share his story with our Hebrew school parents and older children at 10:45 am with time for Q&A, and he will address the full community over lunch, which starts at around 11:30 am.

All are welcome to attend services and lunch; guests MUST RSVP in advance to office@csinyack.org for security reasons.

Shabbat evening services: Friday at 6:00 pm

Saturday morning services: 9:30 am
